Le Roi Lion celebrates its 600th performance with Laurent Ruquier and his Chronicles

Monday April 20, Laurent Ruquier convened his entire band outside the Europe 1 studios for an original “On va s’gêner” live broadcast from Théâtre Mogador at to celebrate the 600th performance of Le Roi Lion.

With the costumes and elements of the show installed on stage and in the presence of Jérémy Michalak, Titoff, Fabrice Eboué, Pierre Bénichou, Steevy Boulay, the show company which has already greeted 800.000 spectators and received 3 Molières has numerous surprises in store for Laurent Ruquier and for the public invited for the occasion.

Songs and interviews punctuated the program which kept its usual tone and rubrics: actuality, peoples, politic, media, culture…

This was an original opportunity to celebrate the success of the Lion King in France and to remember the extraordinary experience of the troupe since soon two years.

At the end of the program, Olivier Breitman (Scar), Léah Vincent (Nala), Jérémy Fontanet (Simba), Zama Magudulela (Rafiki) and the ensemble singers offered to the spectators a small private concert with the most beautiful songs of The Lion King.
