CONTRIBUTION TO A RICH BROADWAY TRADITION

In 1993, Stage Entertainment debuted on Broadway with Cyrano the Musical and two years later, a production of Victor/Victoria. These two shows inspired a joint venture with Dodger Theatricals. Since 2005, both companies have gone their separate ways so that Stage Entertainment could concentrate on its continued expansion in Europe in partnership with Disney Theatricals, Littlestar, Really Useful Group, Cameron Mackintosh and others. Stage Entertainment continues its commitment to New York through New World Stages, its theater complex in midtown Manhattan.

Over the years, the company garnered numerous nominations and awards, including Broadway’s most presigious honor, The Tony Award®. It was the Dutch production of 42nd Street that inspired the Tony Award®-winning revival on Broadway. The productions that followed, Urinetown and Into The Woods,
received a total of five Tony Awards®. Stage Entertainment has contributed to a rich Broadway tradition that includes: 42nd Street, Dracula, Urinetown, Into The Woods, The Music Man, Blast!, Titanic, Wrong Mountain, Footloose, Mandy Patinkin: Mamaloshen, High Society, 1776, Ralph Fiennes’, Hamlet, OnceUpon a Mattress, Victor/Victoria and Cyrano the Musical.
