In the West End, Stage Entertainment have produced Contact; The Full Monty; Spend Spend Spend and Blue Man Group. With its expanded UK operations, on the purchase of Adam Spiegel Productions, the company has produced Fame in the West End as well as the UK tours of Fame and Lady Salsa. In early 2007 the company entered into a partnership with the Shaftesbury Theatre, where the company produced the UK premiere production of the multi-Tony Award winning Hairspray. Hairspray has gone on to win every major Best Musical award in the UK and is now the recipient of 27 major awards.In 2008 Stage Entertainment has produced the first UK tour of Disney's High School Musical and the live arena tour of Strictly Come Dancing. A London production of High School Musical opens at the Hammersmith Apollo on the 28 June for a nine week run.
In early 2008 Stage Entertainment confirmed the purchase of See Tickets, the second largest ticketing company in the UK. Stage Entertainment continues its ambitious growth in the UK with planned regional tours of Fame and Saturday Night Fever and the development of a number of new products for the West End and touring markets.
