Theatre and live entertainment constantly undergo change. New technological innovations stimulate creativity, change insights into acting and encourage new writers to come up with contemporary themes. At the same time, social and demographic progress changes the expectations of theatregoers around the world. What remains is the demand for live entertainment of the highest quality. Television, film and the Internet have become an important part of contemporary life, but they have not replaced the need for live entertainment. Theatergoers want to be affected, surprised and moved.
It was this way in the past, and I am convinced it will continue to be in the future. In my thirty five years as a television and theatre producer, live entertainment has been an important wellspring, both creatively and in business. This passion inspired me to bring all of my theatre activities together under one new international company in the late 1990’s. The result is Stage Entertainment, the International Entertainment Group. Stage Entertainment is comprised of several subsidiary companies in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Russia, Italy, France, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. We feel honored to present, in various European countries, the creative products of leading international theatre producers Disney Theatricals, Littlestar, Really Useful Group, Blue Man Productions, Jacobsen Entertainment, Cameron Mackintosh and the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien.
Stage Entertainment is made up of some five thousand people who give their best everyday to ensure that we offer remarkable live entertainment to a worldwide audience. Stage Entertainment continues to conquer new frontiers.
