Prof. Ir. Wim Dik (1939) studeerde elektrotechniek aan de TU Delft en enkele jaren economie in Rotterdam. Hij werkte van 1964 tot 1988 bij Unilever waar hij voorzitter van de Directie Nederlandse Unilever Bedrijven B.V. werd. Hij was staatssecretaris van Economische Zaken (1981-1982) en maakte in 1988 de overstap naar PTT/KPN waar hij voorzitter werd van de Raad van Bestuur Koninklijke PTT Nederland N.V. Hij bekleedde een groot aantal commissariaten bij vooraanstaande Nederlandse en Britse ondernemingen. Op dit moment is hij nog voorzitter Raad van de Raad van Advies van Connekt, voorzitter van de Adviescommissie Ondernmerschap & Onderwijs (ministerie Economische Zaken), voorzitter an het Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds en voorzitter van de Raad van toezicht van het Museum voor Communicatie. De heer Dik is freelance hoogleraar aan de Technische Universiteit Delft in de sectie Technologie, Strategie en Entrepreneuring.
Prof. Ir. Wim Dik (1939) studierte Elektrotechnik an der Technischen Universität Delft und Wirtschaftswissenschaften in Rotterdam. Von 1964 bis 1988 arbeitete er für Unilever, zuletzt als Vorsitzender des Vorstands der Niederländischen Unilever Companies BV. Wim Dik war Wirtschaftsminister 1981-1982 und wechselte 1988 zu PTT/KPN, wo er zum Vorsitzenden des Vorstands der Königlichen KPN NV bestellt wurde. Er bekleidete außerdem zahlreiche Aufsichtsratsämter bei führenden niederländischen Unternehmen. Derzeit ist er Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrats der Zesko Holding B.V. (Casema, Multikabel, Essent Kabelcom) und der Tele Atlas N.V., Mitglied des Aufsichtsrats der Unilever N.V., Non-Executive Director der Unilever PLC, der Aviva PLC und der LogicaCMG PLC, Vorsitzender der Stiftung Omroep Brabant (Brabant Broadcasting Foundation), Vorsitzender des externen Beirats von Spencer Stuart Nederland, Vorsitzender des Beirats von Connekt, Vorsitzender der Beratungskommission für Unternehmertum und Ausbildung (Wirtschaftsministerium), Vorsitzender der Nationalen Stiftung für Musikinstrumente, Mitglied des Aufsichtsrats des Carré Theaters in Amsterdam sowie Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrats des Museums für Kommunikation und des Boerhaave Museums. Wim Dik ist freier Professor an der Fakultät für Technologie, Strategie und Betriebswirtschaft der Technischen Universität Delft.
Prof. Ir. Wim Dik (1939) studied Electronics at Delft Technical University and Economics in Rotterdam. He was employed at Unilever from 1964 - 1988, where he worked himself up to Chairman of the Board of the Dutch Unilever Companies BV. Mr. Dik was the state secretary of Economics (1981-1982) and moved to PTT/KPN in 1988, where he became chairman of Board of Management of Royal KPN NV. He also held a large number of commissioner’s positions at leading Dutch companies. He is currently chairman of the Supervisory Board of Zesko Holding B.V. (Casema, Multikabel, Essent Kabelcom), chairman of the Supervisory Board of Tele Atlas N.V., member of the Supervisory Board of Unilever N.V., non-executive Director of Unilever PLC, non-executive Director of Aviva PLC, non-executive Director of LogicaCMG PLC, chairman of Stichting Omroep Brabant (Brabant Broadcasting Foundation), chairman of the External Advisory Board of Spencer Stuart Nederland, chairman of the Advisory Board of Connekt, chairman of the Advisory Commission for Entrepreneurship & Education (Ministry of Economics), chairman of the National Foundation for Musical Instruments, member of the Supervisory Board of the Carré Theater in Amsterdam, chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Communication Museum, and chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Boerhaave Museum. Mr. Dik is freelance professor at the Technical University of Delft, section Technology, Strategy and Business Operations.
