After the first entry into the world of musicals with the production Barnum, an enormous development process was set in motion. Almost every Dutch person has visited amusical produced by Joop van den Ende Theaterproducties. Every theatre season, we offer a variety of theatrical experiences; two or three open-end productions in ourown theatres; larger and smaller touring musical productions, or a production that runs for a longer period, in a larger theatre; short runs of appealing international productions and productions of our own, such as Cyrano, 3 Musketeers and the new musical Ciske de Rat. In addition, the Dutch branch runs two open end theatres in Scheveningen and Utrecht as well as a convention complex in Amsterdam and Aalsmeer. A third open end theatre will be built in Amsterdam.
